Booker T. Cooper born in St. Louis to a very strict and devout family found himself engineered in a world that he was not ready to embrace. He struggled with the idea of giving his life to God and it came only after a lifetime of hardships and growth. Through his journey was deep love and reverence for our heavenly Father propelled the one time pimp and hustler to begin to write songs of inspiration and hope. These songs caught the ear of Ted Jarret, a budding recording label owner in Nashville TN, who offered Cooper the opportunity to sing with his group "The Braxton Singers". His professional career has put him on stage with gospel greats; "The Gospel Keynotes", "The Canton Spirituals", "Doc McKenzie & The Hi-Lites" and a host of traditional and non traditional artists. With his solo career now in full swing, Booker T. Cooper hopes to continues to uplift the word of God through the ministry of music.
